The Toro Groundsmaster^® 5900 Tier 4 Series sets the new standard for productivity, uptime and low daily operating costs.

This improved model takes the trusted design of the previous Groundsmaster 5900/5910 model and integrates a fuel-efficient EPA Tier 4 Final and EU Stage IV emissions compliant Yanmar^® 3.3-litre turbocharged diesel engine.

“These mowers can mow up to 8.4 hectares per hour*, meaning operators can mow up to 100 acres per day, making this an extremely productive mower for even the largest jobs.

“Mowing widths range from 145 cm to a huge 490 cm. At the same time, the mower can also mow a 0 cm circle without wheel brakes, this means you can easily mow striping patterns and not leave any grass uncut.”

The Groundsmaster 5900/5910 delivers improved horsepower efficiency through innovations to the hydraulic systems, the electric cooling system and deeper cutting decks, which reduces power usage in thick or tall cutting conditions. Because of these innovations, the upgraded Tier 4 Final models have demonstrated fuel savings of up to 30 percent^ when compared to the previous Groundsmaster 5900/5910 models.

Smart Power™ allows the operator to effortlessly maintain the correct speed for optimal cutting. It prevents the machine from bogging down in heavy cutting conditions and keeps the blade speed at optimum cutting speed in any condition by automatically slowing down the traction unit ground speed to give more power to the blades.

The SmartCool™ system blows clippings and debris off of the intake screen to reduce overheating.
An onboard InfoCenter™ gives the operator a quick read on all systems and even provides assistance at the right moment. When the comfort and safety of an all season cab, the incredibly nimble handling, and tough Toro durability are added in, the new Groundsmaster 5900 series proves beyond doubt that increased efficiency and ease of operation lead to higher productivity.
